"The problem was that my computer stopped booting. It came up with a message that the hard drive could not be detected and shut down. So I started doing my own little investigation of the problem - did some online research, googled the error message, read forums. I actually followed some instructions to swap the drive with another computer, which was kind of risky for me as I never did anything like that before. Still didn't work, so it had to be the drive. I was just about to try taking the hard drive apart, but that's when sense sort of gripped me and I stopped - after all, it was a huge risk I was taking, doing it on my own, and I didn't want to lose the data.
I decided I better try a data recovery company in Los Angeles. Data Recovery Cupertino seemed to be the best choice, so I went with them.
Like I said - 3 hours, and they were done! They had my data copied to an identical (but working) drive and I was all set. The old drive had some sort of a mechanical malfunction, but luckily, it wasn't completely broken since no data was lost.
Thank you Data Recovery Cupertino! That was a great job you did."

"I saved pictures on a CD to save some space on my computer. I guess I didn't take good enough care of it because the CD became kind of scratched up and when I tried to put it in, the computer wouldn't even read it anymore. But those pictures are kind of important - all our vacations, family photos, pictures of parties and events, so many good memories! I didn't want to lose them. So I decided to have another try and called Cupertino Data Services.
They were able to extract most of the photos from the damaged disk. There was a huge scratch on it which made it impossible to recover everything, but they got the bulk of it.
Thank you very much, Cupertino Data Services, I'm not sure you realize just how much this means to me!"

"I'm the financial strategist for my company and I had a lot of data stored on my work computer that is crucial to our company. I was in a state of shock and panic when the computer broke down as a result of a hard drive failure - if the data were not recovered, it would probably cost my company valuable time and money, and not to mention, it would also probably cost me my job.
I was referred to Data Recovery Cupertino in California, who were able to recover this precious data. For this, I cannot be grateful enough. They understood how important it was for me, and worked with me patiently but quickly to get it all back. I found their support to be of the highest quality and would strongly recommend their services to others in need."

"We have tape drives where we store our old backups. We needed a file that we had deleted a long, long time ago. By our ill luck, the tape where we had the file we were looking for was slightly damaged and could not be read. Since our need was desperate, we went to a data recovery specialist who could help us recover the data on the tape drive.
Cupertino Data Services was able to do this for us. They lent us a hard drive so we could make a copy of the data. Our experience with them was pretty good - their support staff were friendly, they were very prompt, and we have no complaints about the price. They have our recommendation."

"My hard drive was nearing its death - diagnostics were showing bad sectors, and parts of the hard drive were unreadable (the computer actually locked up when it tried to access certain parts of the drive). I was unable to perform a full backup for the same reason. I went to Cupertino Data Recovery so that they could mechanically copy everything onto a new drive, just as a precaution (I haven't lost any data). I would have done this myself, but this requires special equipment and a clean room, which I don't have. It was a quick job, and they had the new drive ready for me within a few hours.
I give them five stars since, well, why not? They did what they were supposed to, and there weren't any unpleasant surprises."

"Cupertino California Data Services saved me a lot of time and money when I lost 5 GB worth of music. I was using my old external HDD to transfer the music between one computer and another. Done this plenty before, no problems. But somehow this time my computer locked up and when I unpluged the HDD, I think it corrupted it. This was the only copy of the music that I had, and it would probably have cost like $1000 to buy all of it again. Thanks Cupertino California Data Services!"
